An invitation to explore.
Welcome! I believe art can create lasting change by illuminating the intangible aspects of our human existence. My work aims to reveal the unseen forces that shape our lives, challenging assumptions, cultivating empathy, and inspiring new perspectives.
My journey has been significantly shaped by collaborations with TED. As Artist in Residence for various TEDx events and TEDActive (2015), I've created installations that transform spaces and encourage mindfulness. The TEDx Artist in Residence Program, which I co-created, earned a TEDx Incubator Prize, showcasing my commitment to integrating art with ideas worth spreading.
From public installations at Portland International Airport to interactive pieces in Dubai with Vernissage, my work continues to evolve and engage international audiences. My background as a Creative Arts Director in a Portland K-8 public school informs my approach to art as a transformative educational tool, as well.
With a foundation in graphic design and studio art, I've had the privilege of working in diverse artistic roles, from Art Director for a national music magazine to creating educational content for renowned museums. My formal education includes studies at Smith College, the Glassell School of Art, and various certifications in digital arts and education. I continue to embrace learning opportunities, staying current with online courses in art and technology.
Currently serving as an Arts Commissioner for the City of Oregon City, OR (2024-2026), I continue to advocate for the arts and shape our community's cultural landscape.
I invite you to explore my work, hoping it offers you a moment of reflection, a new perspective, or a connection to our expansive world.
