This latest collection explores the importance of staying connected to our authentic selves in an ever-evolving reality and the swift rise of world-defining technologies. It strives to capture the inherent link between our inner selves and the external world, encapsulating the very essence of navigating this dynamic existence. The vibrant and vivid paintings are a fusion of digital abstract art and thoughtfully selected elements from abstract acrylic paintings. These elements serve as the archaeological bedrock for the creation of something new. As I reveal more digital paintings in this collection, it becomes a journey of inquiry. Typically, artists carefully curate an entire series before release. However, this time I am embracing the evolution of the series. Inspired by the Japanese principle of kintsugi, Aisthesis embodies the beauty of imperfection and the transformative power of time. This unique work of art seamlessly blends traditional and digital mediums. The original piece, in a private collection, features 24K gold leaf for a truly exquisite touch.
This piece has already gained recognition. I was honored to feature it in my TEDx talk, “Reframing the Journey.” In this talk, I shared how art became a catalyst for my personal transformation following a car accident and MTBI, making Aisthesis not only a unique work of art but also a symbol of hope and inspiration.
Aisthesis was curated by HUG for their first ongoing exhibition, "Enter The Inclusiverse," in the 0x17 Gallery at The Seaport , New York City (2023). This is a limited edition run with only 1080 tokens available for this piece.
